ABOUT THE OUTFIT:

Dress + Cardigan/Forever 21; Mary Janes/ASOS

I wore this on Tuesday to my senior awards ceremony, which was the longest ceremony ever (I can only imagine what graduation will feel like in the middle of the Louisiana heat while wearing a thick polyester robe and cap with a stadium packed with people breathing my air). The truth is I pretty much cried like a baby because during the senior slideshow, they played the song 100 Years, and, hello, that's a sad song anyways, but when you're graduating high school and leaving behind a life where you're always taken care of, it can feel like it's twisting the knife (for like of a better phrase). I am, though, super proud of my friends who got scholarships (I'm talking $64,000 and upwards). I hate to have to say I'll miss everyone if only because I don't if I'm ready for high school to end now that the ending is here.
