ABOUT THE OUTFIT:
Dress (worn as a shirt)/Old Navy; Skirt/Thrifted; Brogues/ASOS
I saw this skirt at the Goodwill yesterday while searching the racks for acid washed jeans to turn into some shorts, and it's just the most beautiful mint with a small floral print on it (that you can't see). I convinced my mom that it would be perfect for Easter to get her to buy it for me. It's so flowy and very Jessa from Girls (I love her). I'm not normally into long skirts/dresses, but I gotta say that it's very nice to not have to worry about the wind blowing my skirt up and showing everyone my knickers.
I'd like to take this post as an opportunity to say that I don't dress for anybody but myself, and I think that if you're dressing for anyone but you, you're taking away from who you are. If you want to wear sweats and a t-shirt every day, do it, because that's you. It doesn't matter what you wear as long you're trying to make your own self feel good or comfortable. With that said, I dress for myself so that I feel comfortable. I say this because somehow every day I end up getting stupid comments on how not everything I'm wearing matches. I can see. I can see just fine. I know what I'm wearing because I picked it out this morning, and I don't need anyone's hate/comments about how certain things I'm wearing aren't what they think I should wear. End of rant.
xx
You are hot.
