A couple of weeks ago was Mardi Gras here in North Louisiana (I believe it happens on different days in different cities so people can attend more than one parade, but I'm not sure, so don't quote me on that one). Anyways, my mom bought me and her these cool masks and we went over to Antique Alley where the annual pet parade is held before the actual Mardi Gras parade. I got a lot of pretty pictures from that day, but not very many in the way of the actual parades since people kept standing in front of me. Like, adults. I had a three-year-old on my shoulders and a woman actually pushed me out of her way. People get crazy during parade time, I guess, but I try to focus on how cool the whole thing is and how happy it made Colin.
