Birthday Wishlist: Turning 18

My birthday is coming up in about a month or so, and I'll be, *ahem*, legal. I don't actually want, like, a big party like people normally would want for their eighteenth birthday parties. I will literally probably go eat lunch with my friends and have some family over. Maybe a small sleepover. Definitely Starbucks. 

Looking at this wishlist, I feel like I want so much stuff, haha! Most of it is floral and there are more pairs of black boots I want (they just cost around $200). I just really love chunky black boots! I pretty much grab at every pair I see. The Endless Love spray/every other Endless Love is the product of a trip to Victoria's Secret with Madeleine a few days ago for her some lotions. I also saw the planner of my dreams. I get a planner every year because I forget if I don't write it down, and since I'm possibly attending ULM this year, I definitely need a planner. I also really love this notebook as, like, a book for doodling, journaling, listing, or art journaling. It's so pretty and it's obviously for a color person. I really want to have a banner in my room, but I don't really know what I want it to say quite yet but nothing like 'happy birthday', so making my own would be useful (and I could take it down and make another whenever I'd like!). The 'boys' pillow cases are hilarious for me because 75% of me and Madeleine's conversations revolve around boys. Plus they look kind of kitschy-tacky-grunge. 

As for the second one, which is mainly clothing, it's filled with things I've wanted for a while and most of it is one sale (which I love). I really love that green beanie, because the color is so unique, as well as the floral ball cap and floral crown. I always forget that I actually need black tights when I'm shopping, but, like, I *NEED* black tights. I literally have every other color but black. (I also need a skin-tone pair)

Lucy Wishes for Backpacks

Before last Friday, I had had the same backpack for a couple of years. I felt like it really lasted a long time even though it wasn't a very sturdy feeling backpack. I graduate in a couple of months, but my previous backpack literally wasn't going to cut it. Beside the fact that one of the straps was completely detached, it also had many holes in it, including a hole spanning the length of the bag. I don't know how I kept anything in it at all, truthfully. 

But that's when I started shopping for backpacks. I looked at quite a few online, but I ended up getting the pretty galaxy print one from the mall here. I love that my mom helped me look in every single store for a good backpack (or even a backpack because literally the only store that had one was Journey's). Here's another thank you, mom.

Aren't these so pretty? I've actually spent too much money lately on a whole bunch of clothing, so I may never see these on my feet, but.. I can just look at them, right?

See, the thing is that I've recently taken a liking (a severe liking) to creepers. I saw a pair I really liked at Mr. Shoes online, but, alas, the shipping is, like, $50 from the UK to here in America. <insert sad face here> (if anyone reading this in the UK is willing to let me have it ship to them, then they can ship to me(?), that'd be awesome!) Anyways, I've been looking for some creepers at a reasonable price (including shipping) and I really haven't found anything quite like the ones at Mr. Shoes, but here are some choices anyways.

I have a plan to soon show my shoe collection.. I only just noticed that I have a billion shoes. My mom called me a shoe fiend and I realized that it really is true. I have two tubs filled with shoes. Of course, I won't make anyone sit through all of my shoes. That may take hours.

Lucy + Senior Pictures

So, I've really started thinking about what I want to wear for my senior pictures that my super cool photographer cousin is going to take. I absolutely love this dress, and it kind of goes with the theme of the graduation announcements/invitations that I'm making. I thought it would be cute to just go ahead and wear what the model did in the picture--pink dress with black tights and shoes--, but I was going through the sale accessories page on Asos and I saw the most beautiful pink pillbox hat. Well, they didn't have the pretty pastel pink pillbox, but that would have been a little too much pink for me. I saw the lilac option and my heart sparkled. I think the combo is amazing. I have already ordered the pillbox. I will probably order the dress soon (even though we're waiting to take my pictures in the spring). I cannot wait. 

The only thing about this dress is, though, it's a swing dress. Don't get me wrong, it's beautiful, but I have a big chest, so I'm afraid I may not look right. Hopefully, I will be able to have my surgery before my pictures.

So, I was going to do this as a "Wishlist Wednesday" that some bloggers are fond of... only yesterday, I was cleaning my grandmother's house. So. Yea. You all will live, haha.

I'll go ahead and admit that I already have some of these items, only I'm not allowed to have them until Christmas (ouch, mom). I bought that sweater (number 8) in Forever 21, but I could not find it on the website, so. Also, I have a black cloche that is very similar to the one pictured (mine has a pearl on the side), but I bought mine at a boutique at our mall called Francesca's. There's an online site for that store as well, but the cloche was not available.

Lucy's Love Affair

So, a couple weeks (maybe a month?) ago Mrs. Kaelah posted a picture of her pair of these pretty pink Jeffery Campbells. I vigorously, and I mean with vigor for some hours, searched for these shoes, because I fell in love. But, alas, I could not find them... until I looked on her blog a couple of nights ago to see that she had posted an outfit that included these shoes. SWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON. 

Now these aren't the typical shoe I might like, since I'm on the Pastels side of the Pastel vs. Jewel Tone debate, but, I mean, would you just look at these glorious heels?
